Mission

The Oscar Thomas Foundation, founded in 2001 by Nanci Thomas, is recognized as a nonprofit public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The mission of the Foundation is to empower children, young adults and Senior Citizens to create and become their own masterpiece, by helping them to understand that they are not only a unique work of art, but an equally valued member of society.

Our Philosophy

The Oscar Thomas Foundation was established as a vehicle to perpetuate the memory of Oscar Thomas, his achievements and to carry on his dream of a better life for children, young adults and Senior Citizens through the arts, education, and community service.
Also, central to our philosophy is promoting leadership by using art to encourage freedom of self-expression in the development of imagination and creativity.

Board of Directors

The OTF is run by a team of professionals and legal advisors, dedicated to furthering the vision of the organization. All Board members and advisors are volunteers and do not receive compensation or salary.
